The first completed work of 2025, Promise Percent Pills (Tamoxefin), this painting carries an unintentional, yet hopeful optimism, offering a sense of closure. After surgery and radiation treatment, the next step focused on prevention. My oncologist presented the statistics, the pros, while downplaying the possible cons. Each RX bottle in the painting represents one year of the five-year Tamoxefin protocol beginning with 2025. They mark future time passing with no guarantees. What will actually come out of these bottles?

Whether Tamoxefin lives up to its promises remains to be seen, but my hand is raised in praise to God, and it is open to receive whatever future He sees fit for me, regardless of Tamoxefin’s fulfilled or broken promises as yet to be known.
